Wynne Plumbing first opened its doors in 1954 when Seymour (Sam) Kaplan decided to leave his position as a plumber and venture out on his own. That was 3 generations ago!

Originally named S & K Plumbing (for Sam & Ethel Kaplan), their first office was located in the basement of a brownstone on the Upper West Side. As you can see, we have strong New York City roots. In 1961 the official Wynne Plumbing Co. was formed, and moved to a new location on Amsterdam Avenue & 91st Street.

Wynne Plumbing & Heating has been servicing New York City and its boroughs for almost 60 years. We are proud to be a family owned company that is now into its 3rd generation of plumbers. Above all else, we pride ourselves on our high bar of excellence, reliability, quality of work, courteous customer service and dedicated team of friendly plumbing mechanics. We are proud to say that our plumbing mechanics have an average tenure of 20+ years in our shop!

In order to accommodate our growing customer base, we moved into a modern, fully stocked warehouse near Riverdale in the Bronx in the year 2008. Sam started his business in 1954 with one rented truck – and, 65 years later, we now have a 17-truck fleet, all managed by friendly, devoted employees who make sure we are ready each day, to take care of all your plumbing needs.

Today, we are fully licensed and insured in New York City and the surrounding boroughs. We offer a variety of expert services in plumbing and sprinkler work for your commercial building, or your residential home. We service every type of building, including brownstones, office buildings, high-rises, co-ops, condos, hotels, schools, churches and synagogues.

We have a 24 hour answering service, so when you call, you can expect an actual person to answer the phone, and we are able to dispatch a crew for your plumbing emergencies as needed.
