About this business
And why we do what we do! Kalye, meaning “street” in Tagalog, is a cozy fast-casual spot in NYC’s Lower East Side. Founded by Rob Mallari-D’Auria to celebrate his Filipino roots, Kalye emerged after his move from the Philippines. With husband Henry, they envisioned Kalye as a culinary haven and cultural gateway, showcasing Filipino flavors. Known for signature Ube Sliders and family recipes, Kalye offers an authentic taste of the Philippines, whether dining in or at their Smorgasburg pop-up.
