Leyenda is a James Beard Nominated pan-Latin inspired cocktail bar and restaurant, bringing a little bit of Latin America to Boerum Hill, Brooklyn.
Leyenda celebrates the spirits and imbibing traditions of Latin America and beyond through creative and classic cocktails, highlighting seasonal ingredients as well as classic and modern cocktail techniques. Our food reflects traditional and contemporary takes on dishes from across Central and South America.
Leyenda opened in 2015 by Julie Reiner, the renowned team of Clover Club (that is just across the street!) and Ivy Mix, named Best American Bartender at Tales of the Cocktail, and author of Spirits of Latin America. Our food and kitchen are commanded by Chef Jorge Romero. Janice Bailon is our Head Bartender and Dylan Rhyder is our General Manager.
