Automatic Irrigation Design

The story of Automatic Irrigation Design began in Oceanside, NY in 1958 with our 17 year old founder installing sprinklers out of the trunk of his mother’s car. A true rarity during the 50s, neighbors would come outside to see the new sprinkler on the block. With a passion for providing stellar customer service and a fascination with the latest technology, our founder grew Automatic Irrigation Design through referrals one happy, satisfied customer at a time.

60 years laters, we are under the same ownership and are operated as a multi-generational family-owned business. We are the premiere lawn sprinkler company in the tri-state area, having installed 40,000 residential lawn sprinklers and executing 15,000 openings and closings a year. Our founder attributes the growth and longevity of the company to his knowledgeable and friendly team – some of the longest-standing employees have been with us for 50 years!

Our fleet of 20 service trucks travels from Manhattan to the Hamptons 6 days a week installing and servicing residential lawn sprinkler and commercial irrigation systems.

Our in-house team of mechanics, utilizing our own warehouse of equipment, keeps our fleet on-the-road and ready to service our clients at any time. We welcome all clients from first homes to large estates and are committed to providing state-of-the art technology, equipment and design.
